Exercise values from multiple linked Apps
I wear a Fitbit, and use Google Fit. The Fitbit is linked to Google Fit and both are linked to Cronometer. I'm seeing a lot more calories burned from exercise than I believe are earned. For example, today Google Fit credited me with 68 minutes of walking (-326.84) and 44 minutes from Fitbit (-502) - but they were the same session of exercise (about a two-mile walk at 2.0 mph). Do I chose to link one or the other??

Hi Nu2Pomona,
I recommend choosing the one you like best to import activity from to avoid double-counting.

I have a related concern. I'm concerned that Fitbit data might be duplicating the 'calories burned' that Cronometer already calculates for ordinary daily movement (vs special exercise). On a day when I haven't done any targeted exercise, just walked a modest amount in daily life, Cronometer deducts calories burned via Fitbit for those few hundred steps even though Cronometer (if I understand correctly) has already built in modest daily movement to its "Calories Burned" estimate. Should I assume that there's some duplication and keep in mind that I haven't really burned as many calories as I'm told?
Hi NGlazener,
Cronometer will deduct some of your activity calories for the amount of time you spent walking (or other activity imported from synced devices) to avoid double-counting.
