Why does the app not read the Bai label correctly?

My Bai Coconut drink indicates 1 net carb per 8 oz serving, but Cronometer lists the drink from the bar code as 6 net carbs per serving. Which one is correct?

Answers

  • Hi Stina96,

Bai drinks often contain sugar alcohols, so this could depend on your macronutrient target settings. Cronometer gives you the option to track net carbs with sugar alcohols or without sugar alcohols. If you would like to subtract sugar alcohols so they don't count towards your net carbs, please check your settings in the Settings tab, under Targets.

In the Macronutrients section, use the drop-down list beside 'Tracking cabohydrates as" and select the option "Net Carbs without Sugar Alcohols"

If you found this is due to an error in the nutrition information we have listed, please let us know by reporting an issue on the food. On the web version, you can report an issue with your specific food by right clicking on the food entry in your diary to select View/Edit Selected Food. Then select the settings icon in the top right corner, and select Report Issue.

If you notice an error in the Add Serving dialog, you can click # of Listed Nutrients, then select the settings icon in the top right corner, and select Report Issue.
