Should I add exercise calories?
in Help
Hi,
So I chose "light activity" as my lifestyle since I work a sedentary job and exercise 3 times a week. However since cronometer takes your activity into account when setting your calories, am I still supposed to log my workouts and calories burned? Or is this kind of double dipping?

To enter your exercise, you have a couple of options. Make sure you have set the appropriate activity level to account for your exercise tracking:
You can set your activity level on your profile tab based on how you would like to track your activity. You can do this a couple of ways. You can:

A new user has no way to learn how to use the mobile app or the website.
Many features and no way to learn them.
Success has gone to your head.
Disappointed
Hi @Joetully we do our best to help new users access the app. Support staff are available to answer emails 9-5 PST monday to friday, and there is a great crew of users on the forums and facebook group as well who are happy to answer questions.
You're right, we could certainly make it easier for new users and our small team here at Cronometer HQ is hoping to improve that in the coming year.
In the meantime, you are welcome to peruse our user manual, including our quick start guides, and let us know if you have any questions - we are here to help!

Hi @Hilary ! Is it possible to disable auto-adding calories from exercise? If I want to have a flat caloric intake and not factor in my fitness (but still want my fitness activities logged)?
I set my macronutrient target to 1200 calories and I can see that reflected accordingly, but my displayed calorie "budget" is still based on my activity level.
@giamanry unfortunately the answer is No. However, this has been requested by users a number of times, so we hope we could implement a way to do this in the future.

I would also like this feature so hopefully it becomes available soon!
