Keto/MMT & stomach pain

I have been doing mercola’s MMT diet for about 6 weeks now (relaxed ketogenic in Cronometer). I’m not testing blood or ketones, but I lost all the weight I wanted to and have been feeling great. Until yesterday when I started having stomach pain every time I eat. Usually it goes away within 30 minutes or so, but after dinner it’s the worst and not fading. My stomach also looks bloated to me. What might cause this and should I change the diet?

There are a number of things that could contribute to the pain you are feeling, including:

    • Type of food you are eating (gas-producer, heart-burn trigger, etc.)
    • How quickly you eat
    • The presence of constipation
    • The presence of acid reflux
    • IBS, IBD, Celiac Disease

I would use the 'notes' to keep a careful diary of your symptoms. If you can't pinpoint it to a food, or if the symptoms continue, you should definitely make a trip to your doctor.
