Does bone broth really not have vitamins or minerals?
Hey guys, really enjoying Cronometer so far. But I have a question. I added 1 cup of beef bone broth into my diary and it only showed up as having protein, carbs, fat, iron and sodium. I even tried commercial beef bone stocks and got the same thing. Where are all the vitamins and minerals that I'm always hearing about? I thought beef bone broth was vitamin and mineral rich?

Hi MikeG,
Sounds like you might be adding a brand name product to your diary. Manufacturers typically only report the nutrients required by law on the nutrition label. If you are looking for more nutrition information, we recommend searching for the closest generic equivalent in the Common Foods tab. This will limit your search results to our sources with the most comprehensive nutrition information. For example, "Beef Broth, Bouillon or Consomme, Homemade"
