Hi Health Rob,
If you enter your food intake into your diary in Cronometer, we can export food calories to Fitbit, but do not import food information from Fitbit.

Where do I find a breakdown ofrecommended daily intake of vitamins and minerals or are they automatically set as defaults in cronometer?

Cronometer's nutrient intake levels reflect that of the Institute of Medicine's Dietary Reference Intakes. These level of nutrients are for healthy individuals of a particular age and gender. Certain conditions/populations can alter our nutrient needs.
