How do I share a recipe with family/friends who are also eating the same thing?

If it's not an option yet, should be high'ish on the feature request list. I've only been using the app for 3 days now and already on several occasions have found myself having to recreate a recipe on each family members' device.

as far as i know you need to be gold, and make them friends....

Bracconiere is right - sharing custom foods and recipes is a Gold feature! You can learn more about our Gold features here: https://cronometer.com/#gold

To add a friend you would like to share custom foods and recipes with, navigate to the Sharing section in the Profile tab. Select Add Friend, then enter in your friend's email address. They will receive an invitation to be your friend. Once they accept, you can search for one another's custom foods and recipes. Use the Custom tab when searching for foods to find them more quickly.
