hello, newbie here
Hello I wanted to thank you for this site. Very helpful . Trying to get control over my type 2 diabetes.
I just started this about a week ago, easing into it and went full in two days ago.
I take a vitamin supplement and was wondering how to add that to the diary.
Thank you

Have you tried searching for it in the food database? I've found some supplements listed in there. If its going to be anywhere, thats where it would be.

Hi Verga,
If you have not found your supplement in our database, you can create a custom food in the Foods tab. Find the steps here: https://cronometer.com/help/foods/#addfood.
After saving your custom food, you can submit it to us for publication (using the gear menu in the top-right of the food editor).
On the mobile app, use the barcode scanner to create custom foods and submit them more easily.
We have a curation team dedicated to reviewing the foods and supplements being submitted and we will gladly add yours to our database.
Best,
Karen Stark

Is the barcode scanner only available on the upgraded App? For the life of me I cannot find it on the free version. I would sure like to see a list of what is available on the paid version vs the free version so I can make an informed decision.

@Nu2Pomona The barcode scanner is available for all of our Mobile app users but not if you are using the website version. To access the barcode scanner, tap on the '+' at the bottom of your screen which will then expand to show options including 'Scan Food'
