Webscraping barcode + nutritional facts

Hi all,

I was busy with some work related webscraping yesterday when I installed cron-o-meter again after not using it for a long time.
I wondered if there is an API ehich can be used to submit barcode and nutritional data to? I think mass imports can be done this way since (at least in the Netherlands) most supermarkets seem to display the needed information on their websites. In that case it's a matter of building a script and scrape that side and feed the information to cron-o-meter.
