Cronometer is Looking for Android Beta Testers
Hi All,
We are doing a major rewrite of our mobile app in a new framework, and we are really excited for the changes this is going to bring with it. Everyone is going to see lots of performance and stability improvements, plus this update is going to let us work a lot more efficiently on the features we have planned for the year.
We are moving toward the final stages of development and as part of that, we would like to invite our android users to join a beta test of the new mobile app. If you are interested in participating, please send an email to beta@cronometer.com and we will reach out with more info when we are ready to get started, which should be some time next week.
In your email, please include the following information:
- Your Name
- Your Cronometer account email
- Your account status, i.e. Gold subscriber, Free, or paid app
- Your android device i.e. Galaxy s7
- The device's android OS version (here's how to check that)
Space is limited so please let us know asap if you’d like to be a part of our beta program.
Cheers,
Spencer

I have android. I use the web interface like 90% of the time - it rocks (sorry, I'm an IT Architect and thus a software developer). But - your 2019 beta program - did that new UI ever get delivered? Am I already using it (v3.7.2 here)?
Beta just for beta's sake may not be worth it, but if you're over 2 years developing the new UI - I'd be happy to install it. Best if I could run the production product alongside the beta, though. DIfferent databases, etc. So I'd be more a software tester for you than jeopardizing my daily diet tracking.
Let me know what you think.

Hi @BillHudacek beta testers are currently testing Cronometer 3.8. (all users should be able to access 3.7.3 currently so you may need to update if you haven't already) We have made a TON of changes since 2019 so you may be reading old information. We are always taking new beta testers to check out new feature implementation and bug fixes.
If you become a beta tester you can continue to use your same account, same data, same database, no problems!
