B-12 confusion
Hi everyone!
Totally new here. So I noticed as I was figuring my diet out that B 12 is listed as an IU. I've never seen this anywhere else. Even my b-complex bottle lists B 12 as mcg. There's no place telling me how to convert mcg into IU's for B 12. Am I missing something? Is there a way to change the IU to mcg?
Thanks for your help.

Hello,
B12 is listed on the Cronometer diary as mcg (which has the symbol of μg); grams or micrograms are the only units used when referring to this nutrients.
Hope this helps!

Thank you, that's good to know. It is confusing as to why it's just not listed as mcg then. I honestly had no idea, I thought it was some weird way of writing IU. Thanks for your help.

Hello @Narshmellow ,
The μ symbol is the prefix for micro determined by the International System of Units. It is common in the United States to see μg listed as mcg on labels.
