Custom Recipe & Serving Sizes
Hi! I am trying to enter a serving size of 1 muffin (and the recipe makes 36, so .03 is what I am entering), but the Grams section insists on 100 grams even though I have no weight listed. When I try to follow the advice from this link on your site, https://cronometer.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360018240312-Create-a-Custom-Food, I'm supposed to enter n/a in the Grams section since my food is servings-based. However, it just reverts to 100 grams after I enter it. So then this 100 grams is what Cronometer bases its figures on instead of dividing by 36. Can you please help me? Thank you :-) !

Hi Miliaz,
Are you creating a new recipe or editing an existing recipe?
If you create a new recipe, select a servings-based recipe beside Serving Size.If you would like to edit a recipe that has a weight-based serving size (a value entered in grams), you will have to edit a copy - the software cannot convert a weight-based recipe to a servings-based one.
Use the menu in the top right corner of the food editor, and select Edit a Copy. Now you will have the option to change your recipe to serving based.I noticed you linked the article about creating a custom food; here is a link to the article on creating custom recipes as well: https://cronometer.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360018510311-Create-Custom-Recipe
