Calorie Budget Number Does Not Match Target Setting Number

What you are seeing is your BMR (how many calories your body needs at rest to maintain its current size), along with your activity setting and/or entered activity. You can't actually alter the calories burned number unless you change your activity level or your body composition/size significantly changes.
Your target for calorie intake is not reflected in the calories summary (unless you set a target for weight loss) but can be found in the diary summary below.

Consumed 552
Remaining 8853
Ig seems to me very high-tech
