Rearrange Ingredients in Recipe
In the diary, you can move entries up or down within the list, but in a recipe you are stuck with leaving ingredients in the order entered. It would be nice if you could move ingredients up or down the list (especially when editing a recipe).

Hi @robartsd ,
Thanks for the suggestion! It would be great idea, and I've added it to our feature request list!
Cheers,

Third the motion (was this feature ever added?)

I wanted to be able to tell you that the motion has passed, but we haven't made progress on this one yet.

Hi @Karen_Cronometer - it's almost a couple of years now. It would be nice to see some progress on this.
I for example, like to modify a recipe going forward, or change an ingredient over time. It's unfortunate that I then lose the grouping I had of similar or related items together.
I am now defining recipe templates that have zero grams of an item, but the item is there and easy for me to set a quantity on. For example, in a salad template, I have three different type of leafy greens, all set to zero. I think explode the recipe and fill in the leaf type I have. Now if I want to put a fourth leafy green in my salad recipe template, it will be at the end, disjointed from all the leafy greens up top.
This now means I may have to scan/read a long list in my template, instead of using it like a power user.
