New Recipe Importer Now Available, v3.7.0
In this build you’ll find our new Recipe Importer! This is the first iteration, so you’ll notice that ingredient and serving size matching isn’t perfect. However, with your help we will improve it!
For now, ask that you try and use the importer as much as possible. Any website should work. At this point we really need a good amount of data that we can analyze to refine our matching algorithms.
As always interested in hearing your feedback whether it's regarding the UI, user flow, or ingredient matching.
Have at er Cronomites!

@Aaron i have emailed two (perhaps three) times now inquiring about being added to the beta program with no response. Is there another avenue available to get this set up.
-
@ccolburn sorry about the delay, we are currently working through some technical issues on our side. Will reach out once we've added you to the beta program. Thanks again for your interest!

In order to create the structure for the database tables, views, and other JCPenney Kiosk objects that are a part of Workforce Safety, you will need to run DDL scripts in your database.

Quick Update for all you Androiders. Recipe importer is temporarily unavailable and has been replaced by our latest public release build. Aiming to have a new Recipe Importer beta build available in next couple of days!
Thanks for your support!

I've used the importer a couple of times, but get frustrated that I cannot edit/correct the recipe during initial import or after saving. For iinstance, one recipe called for a 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, but the importer used 1 teaspoon and I could not make the correction.

why doesn't the importer work in the web interface? Is there a different link to access the beta web interface?
-
Hey @mwbirren thanks for the feedback. Before we deploy to production we are going to update the UI so users can update the serving size of a correctly matched food.
In regards to your second question. Recipe Importer is currently not available on web for beta testing.

I'd love to be able to import recipes from password protected sites that I subscribe to. No option to do that now.
I've also had trouble downloading from WordPress sites.

@Primeofmylife2021 please post the name of the site you are looking to use and I can see about getting it added to our list of supported sites.

@BrendanB I use a login and password to access my recipes, but SP is shutting it down in August. I just want my recipes moved over, if possible.

So far I am adding the ingredients, one by one, but I am able to copy and paste the instructions. That, in itself, is a time saver.🇨🇦 Dee in BC
