Mediterranean "Green" Diet
A question for the Nutritionist: I recently read that the Mediterranean Diet that I follow has a new variant: the Mediterranean "Green" Diet, which includes more green-colored plants. What are your thoughts about this?

I'm definitely all for this! Adding more vegetables to someone's diet is never a bad thing. The one caveat I would add is to ensure you are eating a mix of greens. High intakes of spinach could contribute to the development of kidney stones (from high oxalates) in susceptible individuals.
