Why is the Protein amount for 1 cup of cooked Oatmeal saying 28 gr rather than 6gr
Am beginning to list foods and personalized Nutrient mins and maxes. I need to make sure of the accuracy of listings. I've entered my Protein and other needs and have entered foods in the diary. Today, entering a bowl of Oatmeal I saw the above Protein result and checked other web listings. All others said 6grams of protein for 1 cup, while Cronometer said 28+ (I forget the decimal. Am I doing something wrong?

Which specific oatmeal listing did you use? What was the full title?
Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.

Oatmeal, Regular or Quick, Dry. First on the list, I believe.

Hi vkss,
Oatmeal, Regular or Quick, Dry is for the uncooked oats.
For cooked oats, please use Oatmeal, Regular Cooking or Oatmeal, Quick Cooking.
