Net Energy
I'm a bit confused. I assumed that any energy consumed during the day would be subtracted from the energy taken in. So if I consumed 2500 kCal and I burned 1000 kCal, my total energy intake for the day would be 1500 kCal. The bar at the top of my screen does not appear to show that. I see a few arrows on the bar, but ai don't know what they are and my calorie count is only representative of what I've eaten. Am I missing something here?

Hi John_Y,
Would you mind posting a screenshot so we can have a look?
In general, your energy budget will show you your calories burned - calories consumed. Do you have a weight goal in your settings? We will add/subtract calories from your budget to help you reach your goal.

Here is the screen shot. I totally blew my eating when I had surf and turf. I added up all of the calories and they equal 3315. I burned 2014 calories on my ride. My weight goal is 165 and Im at 163.

Hi there,
It looks like you might have a custom energy target that is overriding your other settings - this is a bug on our end. We have a fix coming out soon to include exercise when you have a custom energy target set.
If you scroll the top banner of the diary to the right you should see the additional calories from your ride included in your calories burned.
