Omega 3 in Red Bell Peppers
Hello !
Cronometer databases refers that 100 gr Red Bell Peppers have 0.1 g of omega 3.
However, USDA refers that they have 0.75 g of omega 3
https://fdc.nal.usda.gov/fdc-app.html#/food-details/168550/nutrients
Why is this large and significant difference ?
Thank you for your time

Hi JohnLas,
Good question! Peppers, sweet, red, sauteed are cooked in added fat - that's where the extra omega-3 is coming from. We've got that one in our database too! Search for "Peppers, Sweet, Red, Sauteed" to add it to your diary.
