I'm having trouble with the conversion of grams to ounces.
Hello, new here. My keto diet suggests 60 grams of protein a day, but when I convert grams to ounces (ounces are easier for me) I come up with 2 ounces of protein. I find hard to believe I'm limited to a couple of ounces of meat so I must be doing something wrong...:(

This might help-it's a list of foods and their protein content listed in ounces. i.e. 3 ounces of chicken has 28 grams of protein . The food is measured in ounces and fat, protein, and carbs are always measured in grams.

This gram situation is something I struggle with, too. I just try to learn one awesome thing at a time, then move on to the next challenge 😄

When I look at the conversion on cronometer for protein. it says an ounce is 28g...so when I put in 6 oz of chicken it only converts to about 48 grams..shouldn't you just multiply 6 X 28 and thats the amount of grams of meat?

Hi AVM,
Are you looking at the total weight of the food? 6 oz of chicken is about 170 g total weight and about 50 g of protein depending on the type of chicken you are using.
If there is an error in the food, please let us know and we will fix it right away!
