How to track alcohol (ale)
I have found that not all the ales that I drink are in the database so I'm having to guess with my entries. I would generally look for 'cask ale' with a % but they don't appear to exist like in the MFP database.
I'm not bothered with tracking alcohol calories just calories in general.

Hi Debrag,
There's the option of using the 'Ale' from NCCDB it's about 4.9% alcohol as an estimate. Or you could create a custom food for the ales you usually drink to enter in more specific calorie information from the manufacturer.
