protein rating in dail charting

I am new to this site and love the simple process of adding food to a daily food chart. this morning I chose a protein breakfast, 1 cup or 3.5 oz of ground turkey, sauteed with small amount onions and mushrooms. my protein already reads as 74 g; that can't be correct, can it?

Comments

  • No, the turkey might be as much as half of that protein. I'd double check your units - perhaps you logged a lot more mushroom than you consumed - I usually weigh my food in grams, every once in a while I'll accidentally log the wrong unit and have way more in my diary than I intended.

  • bring up on this site, turkey breast, skin removed 1 cup and see what comes up

  • it comes up 74 grams of protein per 1 cup turkey breast,. so who can check it out?

  • guess, that isn't the one I used. Turkey Breast, Skin Removed Before Cooking
