Niacin in powdered peanut butter

Does anyone know the value for niacin (mg / g) for peanut butter powder that is 85% defatted?
I've tried inputting various brands and none show any niacin; I'm pretty sure that that is not correct. I've looked at various entries for peanut flours, but they have different levels of fat and protein so I can't use them instead.

It would be nice to have complete nutritional information for at least one brand in this product category. If there is one and I missed it, please let me know.

    Thanks for your question!

    Cronometer uses the most up-to-date nutrition information in their database, so the nutrient content is likely correct. I have a feeling that niacin is likely lost in the processing as the nutrient appears to decrease from peanut butter, to peanut flour, to PB2.

  • It's likely if these entries are from branded labels, all we have is what's on the label, and since reporting Niacin on labels isn't required, we may not have it. If you have a product that has this information on the label, but it's missing from our database, please report it to our curation team so we can update the entry.

  • @LH1 you could try comparing your peanut butter powder to Peanut Flour, Low Fat. Peanut flour may not have the same additives that you find in peanut butter powder, but I believe they are both made from ground, defatted peanuts so it might be worth a try!

  • Peanut four, low fat has almost twice as much fat as powdered peanut butter and half as much niacin as defatted peanut flour.

    I'm guessing peanut butter powder lies somewhere in between the two for niacin / gram.
