Acidity
I know we can keep track of the acidity we consume by looking at the Pral Alkalinty circle but is there a way to track on nutrient area? does it have a different name? just need to know cause I always fall short on this when I look at the circle and I wanted to use ask the oracle to see which foods are high or low in acidity that I need to consume in order to not fall short.

That's a good question fitgirl - Cronometer doesn't have acidity as a nutrient in your diary to track or to search using the Ask the Oracle feature. That's something we can think about adding in the future.

Cronometer also has a blog on the PRAL score that you can read here: https://cronometer.com/blog/alkaline-diet/
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Hey Karen (or anyone), I consistently get minus scores in PRAL alkalinity (today was -42) but I have no idea what that correlates to - is it the sum of all the pH of all the foods I've eaten that day? (That doesn't seem right.) How does it get below 0? Is my diet out of whack? I don't want to go overboard in the wrong direction.

Hello @Lin
Having a negative PRAL score suggests that your diet was more basic or alkaline, which is a good thing. The formula used to calculate PRAL is a little complex:
PRAL = 0.49 x protein (g/day) + 0.037 x phosphorus (mg/d) – 0.021 x potassium (mg/day) – 0.026 magnesium (mg/day) – 0.013 x calcium (mg/day)
You can read more about PRAL in the following blog:
https://cronometer.com/blog/alkaline-diet/In general, it sounds like you're on the right track though!

Where the pral alkalinity clock on chronometer app needs to be? Because basically I eat keto and the clock is out of the green zone... 🤔
