(RANT) Halo Top Caramel Macchiato has caffeine in it!
They are implying on their web site that it has caffeine, but the ingredients don't list it, unless you count "natural flavors" as sufficient disclosure.
Isn't this a violation? Someone report these a-holes please (I don't know where) I have a VERY strict no-caffeine policy, as do some religions (Mormons).
This company is violating their civil rights (and my rights as a consumer)

"Macchiato" is not sufficient disclosure either, because
one shouldn't have to speak Starbucksese to avoid coffee
there's caffeine-free coffee, so why not "Macchiato"

Um, what?
I've never heard of Halo top, so I googled it https://halotop.com/dairy/caramel-macchiato/
They don't seem to be trying to hide it.
"caramel macchiato
There’s nothing like the smell of espresso in the morning. Now you can get your coffee fix in this rich pint of caramel macchiato ice cream with real ribbons of caramel at just 280 calories per pint."

Coffee has caffeine in it (of course!) and did you know that chocolate also contains caffeine?

@maxb Decaffeinated coffee still has some residual caffeine. I'm curious to know why you are following a strict no-caffeine regimen.

Macchiatos are also not something that Starbucks created, though they did arguably popularize their version of them. Given that they're an espresso drink, they have caffeine in them by definition. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caffè_macchiato

It's very addictive to me. If I have a little, I'll want more the next day, etc. and then it starts to take a toll. Quitting is a total SoB. Worst hangover I ever experienced was when I quit coffee cold-turkey once.
Anyway, I feel better being "clean" (as addicts put it) than on the typical overcaffeinated/deprived cycle of a coffee drinker.

Now you can get your coffee fix
Like I said in the OP, they are open about it on the web site, but not on the container. "Ingredients" make no mention of coffee or caffeine.
HaloTop is favored by nutrition nerds, because it tastes close to regular ice cream, at much lower sugar and calories.

We have caffeine receptors in our brain that get "filled" when we start drinking coffee. This is why we need more and more caffeine to experience the same "alert" effects (she says as she drinks her 3rd cup of coffee... )
