Adding cooked or Raw Ingredients to a recipe
I am trying to add a 3 Bean Chili Recipe. In a regular recipe in a cookbook all the ingredients listed are raw. I soak 1 cup of each type of bean ( in this case: Red Kidney, Pinto & Black). Of course they swell and 1 cup of beans is no longer 1 cup after you drain and boil them. I am guessing that maybe I have to soak them and boil them and then measure each type to get the actual measurement? Other wise, if I put Raw Beans in the ingredient list, isn't Chronometer going to calculate all the nutrients based on them being Raw? The other ingredients I have been finding cooked versions listed and was adding those, like sautéed onions, etc. Any suggestions on how to accurately develop a recipe would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi there PlantFuelledHuman,
There's a good discussion about raw vs. cooked foods here: https://forums.cronometer.com/discussion/2831/roasted-foods
