Vegan weight loss

  • Thanks, bracconiere! It just baffled me that the weight came done consistently, then stopped, and now it's going up, slowly. I guess I shouldn't obsess, just weigh myself only once a week and continue with the program! :)

  • @Kristina

@bracconiere said it well... We do not have one weight, but rather a range. And true weight loss takes place over months, not weeks.

Things that could be causing increases in weight (assuming everything else is the same) include:

    • Fluid shifts (especially as we get older or if we take certain medications)
    • Constipation
    • Eating more food (will weigh more)
    • Sweat loss

I would also take some time to ensure that you are accurately inputting your food and activity. If you don't measure what you eat, it might be worth doing this for 1-2 weeks.

    Kind regards,

  • @ Susan
    Thank you!

  • I actually weigh myself and log it every morning before eating and drinking.
As long as i track my food intake correctly i find the scale is always the last to know!

I am an amateur. I've been using CRON-O-Meter for 10 years and counting, still learning.....
