Re: Enable/Disable food in a group to measure its impact on the macros/nutrients
Thanks for the suggestion! I will certainly pass this idea along. Currently, I would recommend using the drag and drop function, to move a food in and out of that group to the difference it will make.
Re: Enable/Disable food in a group to measure its impact on the macros/nutrients
I also sometimes set the portion to zero to see its impact; this allows keeping it in the group. I do this, too, for food items that I alternate within a group from day to day - set the one I eat to its portion size and set the other to zero.
Re: Why are some dietary fiber counted as calories (Ezekiel bread/Oatmeal) and not others?
Hi @Rinny ,
It sounds like these foods may have the nutrients entered incorrectly. I would recommend reporting an issue on the food that isn't working.
On the web version, you can report an issue with your specific food by right clicking on the food entry in your diary to select View/Edit Selected Food. Then select the settings icon in the top right corner, and select Report Issue.
If you notice an error in the Add Serving dialog, you can click # of Listed Nutrients, then select the settings icon in the top right corner, and select Report Issue.
Learn more about reporting issues in our user manual: https://cronometer.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020982412
In the mobile app version, tap "# listed nutrients" and select the "!" icon in the top right corner.

A Question About Pasta
I understand that whole wheat pasta is a better option than regular primarily because of its fiber. I follow a Mediterranean Diet plan and love pasta dishes. Whole wheat pastas, according to America's Test Kitchen, are improving in flavor and texture. Their top recommendation is Bionaturae brand. Any recommendations for other brands that folks here like?
Re: Not understanding my numbers
ok thank you very much Marie-Eve and Susan as well. I will for sure change that. I've lost 96 lbs so far and still have a ways to go but slow and steady wins the race
Re: Not understanding my numbers
Hi @Kmurphy73,
This is based off the weight loss goal of -2.0 lbs/week that you have set. This has set your target calories to a 1000 calorie per day deficit.
Your weight loss goal can be changed in the Settings tab.
Regards,
Marie-Eve
Re: More than one set of macro targets, and the ability to set them per-day
@lunatick YES! You're right it is a pretty significant change, but this is something we agree with - Will be very useful for many different demographics and use-cases.
We are currently in the process of developing support for this. Stay tuned on our social media channels and forum for updates.

Enable/Disable food in a group to measure its impact on the macros/nutrients
A nice feature would be adding the possibility to enable/disable food items in a group so comparisons can be made with different combinations when scheduling meals, i.e.: in the Diary view, sliding right an item from a group reveals the gear icon, there could be a menu item added called Disable, that will disable the item from calculations and so the user could compare and decide.
Food image next to description at add time to the diary
A nice feature for non-native English speaking users would be an image of each product in the search results when clicking/tapping on it, this way the user knows for sure that the product inserted is the correct one, i.e.: lamb chops may or may be not the same as lamb ribs, but if a foto appears with the product, the user will know that what she found on Google is the same as the one added.
