@TxBrandi: wow, 18h daily fasts!
Cronometer already has foods that only have calories, protein, carbs and fat. Just search for Quick Calories
, Quick Protein
, Quick Carbs
, and Quick Fat

Beta Program Update 6/6/19
Hi Everyone,
First I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone for all the time you took to give us feedback on the beta builds of the app. The issues and insights you shared helped our release process go much smoother than if we had done it alone. The team and I really appreciate it.
I also wanted to give everyone an update on the beta program and share a bit about what to expect in the future. We are wrapping up the release of the new app to the general public, and you probably noticed that we have not pushed new beta builds as frequently. This is not the end, in fact you all have been so helpful that want to keep building our beta community, so if you know anyone who wants in on the action, just tell the to send me a mail at beta@cronometer.com with the following information:
- Your Name
- Your Cronometer account email.
- Your Apple ID email OR you Google Play Account Email<- so we can flag you as a beta tester and give you access to the app.
- Your Cronometer account status, i.e. Gold subscriber, Free, or paid app.
- Your device i.e. iPhone 7, Samsung Galaxy, etc.
- The device's OS version.
Now for the fun part! We are going to focus more on user facing features now that the app has been re-built from the ground up, and all of you are going to get early access. Keep an eye out for a new build some time next week with a few brand new features. I’ll post an update once we get the release out to give you an idea of what is in the build. As always, we truly appreciate any and all feedback you are willing to share with us.
Cheers,
Spencer
Re: pulling activity from samsung health
I have found that Google fit will pick up the data for the Samsung Health app and pass it to Cronometer but it is a haphazard way of doing it and I don't think it is very reliable. So far I haven't found a good work around.
PSA: iOS Beta Users Must Update to New Builds Manually
Hi guys,
We have noticed that a number of iOS users have not updated to the latest beta build. We wanted to make sure that everyone knew that you have to manually update to a new beta build when it is released, as it does not happen automatically.
This means that you have to open testflight to download the latest beta. This will prevent confusion around bugs that have been fixed in the most recent builds. If you all could make sure that you are up to date with the latest build, I would really appreciate it
And yes, I wish it just updated automatically like android does!
Cheers,
Spencer

New Feature: Nutrient Oracle Food Suggestions
Hi Everyone!
I am excited to tell you guys about a new feature we just released on the web app for our gold subscribers: Nutrient Oracle Food Suggestions.
Cronometer can now look at your current diary and the food you have logged so far for the day and the Oracle can suggest foods that will help you reach your nutrient goal for the day. Low on potassium, but at 90% of you carbs? The Oracle can tell you what foods will fit in. Eating a specialized diet or have certain food restrictions? You can filter out foods that don't match your style and get a list that works for you.
What is even cooler is that you can like and dislike the suggestions we give you to finely tune the food suggestions you get in the future. It's like the Pandora of nutrition! (the music app, not the box)
You can read more about it on our blog here: https://blog.cronometer.com/nutrient-oracle-food-suggestions/
Re: 30 Day Challenge - who's with me? Starting 4th September
Hey all,
I haven’t had a chance to post in a while and I see a few updates by you guys since then. Good work so far – we can do this!
Well, here we are - at almost at the 30 day point. I’m 7lbs down but am facing into a weekend of beer so I’m hopeful when the clock strikes on day 31 (on Oct 4th that I will be still at least 6lbs down (my 1.5lbs per week goal). And I didn’t have to resort to tiger blood yet ( @ConnieSC , @Keymash ) but I will if I have to!
Whether or not I hit my 30 day goal exactly, I’m confident that I’ve changed my day-to-day habits enough to help me continue on the path to losing 15lbs before my 2nd child arrives in late November. I will be trying my best to hit the target.
One side effect of this weight loss is that my Seahawks jersey looks even bigger on me – might be useful to hide when I’m at the Patriots this weekend.
Hopefully on Wednesday I can discuss how much went right with this challenge, but either way I’ll try to reflect on what went right and wrong, and how I can continuously improve my process, and how Cronometer could help me improve for the next 30 days.
Speaking of continuous improvements, make sure to check out our newest blog post about Polar devices and a new search tab we’ve been working on at Cronometer HQ:
